December 04, 2008 2nd Annual Second Life Society Christmas Party!
On Friday December 19th from 5pm to 7pm SLT, Second Life Society will be holding it’s 2nd Annual Christmas Party!
Our party will be hosted by Xandi Mars, and Random Cole on their Winterland Classic Christmas! sim. Winterland Classic Christmas! is a special sim that has a wonderful setting which will make you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time into a Norman Rockwell painting.
At the Winterland Sim you will be able to walk down snow covered streets and browse through various holiday shops, stop by the Winterland Theatre, the XandiPandi outdoor café with dining and dancing, stop by Scrooge and Marley’s place of business, or relax at a Victorian Tea Party. You could try to catch the elusive Gingerbread Man, or wander to the backside of town to a seedy martini bar. But the fun doesn’t stop there; you can also ice skate, throw snowballs, search for a hidden cave, or go for a shovel ride. There’s a lot to do on the Winterland Sim and it’s only open for a short time. To help you get the most out of your visit you might even want to take advantage of the Winterland Grand Tour HUD. It’s a phenomenal location full of many photo opportunities with its incredible décor that you won’t want to miss out on.
Come one and come all and help us celebrate this holiday season with your friends at Society. We’ll have the outstanding talents of DJ Kiki DeVinna and free Christmas gifts for everyone so you won’t leave empty handed. Kiki never disappoints and will rock your night away, so be sure not to miss her performance.
In addition, this year you’ll have the special opportunity to give to one of the charities supported by Xandi and Random, either through the purchase of goods bought on the Winterland! sim or directly through contributions given via the collecting stations. Xandi and Random currently donates 100% of all the sims proceeds to Toys for Tots and Unicef. Should you feel inspired by the giving spirit of Christmas and wish to donate to one of the charities then please do so, Winterland Classic Christmas and Society thank you.
