SL Shopping Kenzie Style

With the over abundance of designers and malls in SL where do you even start when you are in the shopping mood? Finding high quality clothing, shoes and accessories can be challenging at times but never fear... I am here to give you a little overview of some amazing malls that are jam packed full of outstanding designers.

First up on the list:

PULSE

When Ivey Deschanel and Roblem Hogarth left mainland behind to create Pulse they had one general idea in mind. To create a place where alternative minded adults could come and be who they want to be in a hate free environment. They have been the home to Vampires, Robots, Furrys, Nekos and even humans. The vendors they have on Pulse reflect that diversity. Pulse is home to the main stores of Sn@tch (Punk, Urban, Sexy) !ReTox! (Mutant, Cyberpunk, Steampunk) Bloodlines (Gothic, Fetish, Bondage) Forsaken (Neko, Vampire, Cosplay) and The Hunger (Alternative, Goth, Vamp). 60+ other shops round out the shopping area covering everything you could be looking for. Club Mutation, Pulse's alternative dance club has live DJs, dancing and events.

Pulse Gardens is a beautiful place to hang and chill out, and the beach has tire tubes, jet skis, and Fishing. October and Halloween are a big deal on Pulse and just like last year they are having a large haunted House attraction. “Cutting Classes” is more of a murder mystery horror video game than the usual SL haunted house, so we hope to see you there!

DYSFUNCTION ALLEY

This little gem has been reserved for the best of the best in the designing world. The AlLeY has an urban/neko design but is home to a wide range of styles. This mall is home to Urban Dysfunction which has a bubblegum punk, Urban, Neko design base -- the designer is also open to custom creations for fair prices. Alyssa Bijoux, Sn@tch, ReTox!, Catnip, Wintermoon, Tootsie, Diabolic Designs, Pretty N Punk, Stuff, DuckNipple, MayCreations, HandsOff and Endless Pain Tattoos are just a few of the designers featured here. The biggest plus to this mall is you don't have to hunt through an entire sim to find the stores. They are all right there for you to enjoy. This mall is convenient and well designed. DySfUnCtIoN AlLeY is about one thing only...SHOPPING. While design was important in the creation of the mall it was always secondary to shopping.

Last but most definitely not least:

CREEVE TOWN / LOST ISLE

The sim design alone is enough to rock your world but the true gems of this place are the oodles of fantastic designers. Lost Isle reflects Destany Laval and Thomus Keen's unique vision of Industrial Steampunk, combining elegant arches with a rusty steam age aesthetic. This approach to design goes hand-in-hand with their unique Industrial Steampunk hybridized styles. They've merged Industrial Steampunk with various genres, such as Steampunk + Post Apocolyptic, Steampunk + Grunge, and more. With a lot of hard work, they have managed to successfully create a unique style that is both immersive, and well suited for a broad range of roleplaying communities. Come take a journey into a bold fantastical new fashion, Industrial Steampunk. Lost isle has 85 stores filled with some of the best designers on SL. There truly are too many designers to name. Lost Isle is a must see.

I encourage you all to get out and spend a little time at each of these places. They really are the diamonds of SL. So grab your girlfriends, boyfriends, friends of friends and spend a few hours checking out what each of these amazing sims have to offer. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
